Hi, I’m a Deaf-Blind, AuDHD, Disabled and Diabetic Non-binary trans woman and a horror creator that’s going to be out of work permanently soon since jobs are going to very hard to find in America due to the increasing transphobia and political violence towards trans and disabled people in this country.
I’m being laid off from my part-time jobs and seasonal jobs (all six of them) because my bosses are saying due to tariffs hurting their small businesses, they can’t afford to pay me anymore and has been slowly cutting my hours to a point where it’s almost nonexistent. My final last days will end around November 1st, 2025, and at which time, I’ll have to go into filmmaking, YouTube, writing, art, photography/modeling, acting, content creation, stand-up comedy, gaming/live-streaming, etc. FULL-TIME via Ko-Fi, Patreon, YouTube, Twitch, etc.
Recently, I had a temporary mutual aid goal that was finally met of $200 that covered temporary groceries, cat food, electric bill and internet bill that was due because I had to pay some unexpected expenses/bills I owe for the month of October. And I realized now that I’m going to have to become fully self-employed soon because of the lack of work to be found in my area or anywhere in America, I have decided to ask for help with a consistent monthly list of mutual aid goals:
1 — I’d like to reach at least a minimum of $500 a month or more by getting 500 people or more to subscribe ONLY $1 a month each person on either Patreon or Ko-Fi (hopefully both). This would ensure that I can have a sustainable source of monthly income that would cover some of my bills, expenses, rent, groceries, cat food, medical expenses, etc. while I’m on disability benefits until I can earn enough (ideally, I’d like to try to earn at least $2,000-$5,000 a month via Ko-Fi and/or Patreon or both, but that requires 2,000 or 5,000 people to subscribe for $1 a month each person). 2 — I’d like to reach YouTube Partner, which is free and easy to do for now at this point. All you’d have to do is simply watch all my videos or play through them all in the background through all my YouTube Playlists I have set up on my YouTube channels at https://www.youtube.com/@LKTheHorrorNerd and https://www.youtube.com/@WanderlustWithLorelei and doing this at least twice a week every week to ensure that my watch hours start to go up. You also have to like, comment, turn on notifications so you don’t miss out on my videos, posts, livestreams, etc. and it ensures to the algorithm that you would recommend my content to more people at some point, and of course subscribe to my YouTube channel for free until I am YouTube Partner. There are two levels to YouTube Partnership: Level 1 requires 500 subscribers and 3,000 watch hours (yes, watching my livestreams count towards my watch hours too). Level 2 requires 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours. I’d like to achieve both levels to unlock the full benefits of YouTube Partnership and the best part is, I don’t have to reapply for Partner again after reaching Level One.
3 — I’d like to try to get things I need from my Throne wishlist to finally improve my quality of life as a disabled person and make my entire home fully accessible due to my various disabilities and health issues because I’ve been slowly renovating my townhouse for a few years now on a extremely tight budget and it’s already taken a serious toll on my health and even my mental health trying to finish my renovations to make everything accessible and easier on myself to actually make my home livable for me. Thankfully, many of the items that’s considered a little bit expensive are enabled to be crowdfunded, so it’s easier to get these things I need for my home and still be able to contribute until each item has been fully funded and then ordered and shipped automatically after said goals of the items are fulfilled on Throne. 5 — And finally, I accept commission requests on Ko-Fi to earn extra income for any kind of work that you want me to do. I’m going to be doing this full-time as I mentioned, so feel free to ask me for movie/game/book/TV show/travel vlog/food/etc. reviews that I can write to put on Patreon/Ko-Fi, Letterboxd, Infinite Backlog and other platforms or film about it on YouTube, etc. And since I’m going back to livestreaming/gaming again, I’m gonna need your help in making me Twitch Partner by reaching an average of 75 viewers consecutively for at least one to two months or so, about 2-3 days a week, streaming anywhere between 3-6 hours per stream.
