Raghad El Niwairi, based in Canada, is fundraising to help her large family scattered across Sudan and displaced abroad due to the ongoing war. For over a year, she and her siblings have been covering half their wages, emptying savings, and taking loans to keep relatives alive and moving toward safety.
Donations are needed to secure passports, visas, and flights, pay for urgent shelter, food, and medicine, and support elderly, disabled, and children at high risk of violence, famine, and abduction. Previous support has already evacuated several relatives, covered rent and essentials, and allowed an aunt to continue her studies in South Africa.
Urgent Need (Feb 2025): $4,000 by Feb 28 to cover rent and housing for evacuated relatives, with ongoing support needed for healthcare and rebuilding lives abroad.
